Overdrawn, a poverty milestone
Jacob P. Secrest

Been there, man. Totally. Accidental charges that leave you overdrawn are the worst. I’ve had that happen a couple of times. And the worst part is with my stupid bank, even if I catch it that day and immediately deposit the difference, they still charge me the overdraft fee.

And, I also know what it’s like to be broke and struggling, the pull between what you want right now, and saving for what you need at some point in the future is strong. So I’m not giving you any Old Man Lecture about financial responsibility.

But I will just say that the sooner you figure out exactly what you need to do to get where you want to be in life, and start making what sacrifices you need to make, the better off you’ll be.

Trust me. Time flies. Quicker than you think. You’re gonna blink and suddenly be in your 40’s. Don’t let that time in between go to waste.
