Switching between applications.

You can figure out the version of your operating system by clicking on the Apple logo on the far left side of the menu bar. This tip should work for previous OS X versions.

Quick Tip ~ Switching Between Applications

In System Preferences locate Mission Control to setup the mouse shortcut to trigger Application windows. The default keyboard shortcut is “control + arrow button down” and this can be changed by clicking on the drop-down list.

Activating Application windows using the keyboard, or mouse shortcut will showcase a thumbnail view of all the open windows in the active application.

In Application windows you can press the “tab” keyboard button to switch to other active applications.
