On the subject of the Turing Test, this project by Georgia Tech highlights how close we are in the online space to creating chat bots that can provide as much value as their human counterparts on specific tasks. In the medical space, 1Doc3 is similarly using cognitive technology to offer first-line medical advice to people in Latin America outside of the regular health system.
