Injustice Gods Among Us
As the title suggests, this game is one different from what people are used to. Injustice Gods Among Us is a DC Comics, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment project which was released in 2013.
It is the story of an alternate universe. One in which a lot of tragedy, grief and pain is distributed throughout the story. Although the story is that of tragedy, grief and pain, it also gives us a new perspective of what would happen if our hero's were to remove the limiter's they have placed on themselves and dragged down to the levels of criminals.
The Main Story (broad details)
The main story is about what would happen if our beloved hero Superman were to reach such a point where he does not see the difference between right and wrong. This stage is brought about after the episode of grief and loss that is caused by the Joker. This forces Superman's hand and so he kills the Joker. The death of the Joker at his hand gives Superman “clarity” as to how he can prevent more chaos and conflict. The only way to do that is to seize power over earth and strike down anyone who would stand in his way. Batman, (who was also present in the cell where Superman killed Joker) was trying to find a way to stop his friend without killing him in the process.
Alternate Versions of this Alternate Timeline
The story of Injustice is one which is quite entertaining and informative. If nothing else it gives us the answers to some of the most debated fights between superhero's and how they would fight against other supervillains and if they would be able to win. However the story of injustice is also narrated in other version's as well such as in Injustice 2 released in 2017 (game) as well as the Injustice released in 2021(movie). All of them have different story's but they all revolve around the same plot.
Gameplay Mechanics
The game play mechanics are different depending on which device you use to play the game. For computers it is keys, for consoles it would be joysticks and buttons and for mobile it is swiping and tapping. Although it has been noted that a more immersed experience is gained by P.C and console then you get from mobile. There is more interaction with the environment as well as with characters move sets. Although major portion's of the game have been included in the mobile version the PC and console give a better experience. You can develop combos and the more hits you get before unleashing a special move the more damage percentage will be added to the total damage of that attack.
