How does balance make employees more productive ?
When you bring customers into the equation: It’s important to know that if your employees are not given enough power in the form of training and other necessary certifications then they will not be able to perform well due to lack of professional boundaries.

This results in reduced trust, blurring of roles, ethical concerns, burnout, legal issues.

Employees often find it difficult to address clients when they don’t know the limitations of your products and services. This can lead to a bad overall customer experience, as your employees may spend hours with one irate customer, taking up the majority of their productive hours of the day, and resulting in the unavailability of support for other customers.

When you allow your employees to engage with too many irate customers, they can become burned out. If employees become burned out, they may quit their jobs, which can lead to the problem of employee turnover and staff shortages within the organization.

When you bring employee performance in the equation: When it comes to people, there are no shortcuts to making them perform well at their respective jobs. We all know that it takes a lot of effort to treat your employees with care and nurture them with valuable training that enables them to perform their daily task at work.

However, when you are managing a team and you notice that the team’s average performance is at 60%, you may wonder where you are falling short, even after doing everything possible.

The answer is that you have most likely not given your employees enough power in the form of increased trust, clear roles & responsibilities, presence of ethical compliance, work-life balance, and legal compliance, as compared to the power you hold as a manager or boss.

When you give your employees power in the form of increased trust, clear roles & responsibilities, presence of ethical compliance, work-life balance, legal compliance, this power is reflected in each task they perform, whether it is paying attention to details at work or conducting themselves professionally with their colleagues within the organization.

By giving your employees equal power, you are building trust in them that they are valued just as much as everyone else within the organization.

This is when the magic happens and you start to see drastic improvements in achieving the Key Result Areas (KRA) set by your organization.

Note: The emotions behind such balance of power being shared between management and employees can be overwhelming and possibly the very reason why we humans regardless of gender, age and strata have a deep desire to be employed with the other diversities which we bring to work.
