Droidcon SF — first time in San Francisco

Imagine a group of enthusiasts and Android geeks. They meet up couple times a month. They chat, change ideas, discuss pros and cons of the platform and just have fun. One day they think: ‘Hey, there is a pretty big bunch of like-minded fellows all over the world. They might be just as passionate about Android as we are. Would be really great to bring them all together and dive deep into the Android world’.

That’s how the world’s largest community-driven developer conference was born.

The idea behind the Droidcon conferences is to support the Android platform and create a global network for developers and companies. It offers high-class talks from different parts of the ecosystem, including core development, embedded solutions, augmented reality, business solutions and games. Droidcon is a truly word of mouth event as it covers all aspects of the Android ecosystem from mobile devices, to TV, cars, gaming and much more.

So far the conference has been held in Berlin, Paris, Tunis, Amsterdam, Moscow, New York and some other cities. And this year Droidcon conference will take place in the very heart of the tech world — San Francisco on the 17th and 18th of March 2016.

Droidcon San Francisco is going to bring together more than 50 leading Android experts from all over the country for 2 stunning days of talks, expos and demos. The attendees will have a chance to visit engaging speaker sessions, get hands-on programming skills at Code Lab, showcase their startups at the Startup Alley and see the latest in Android at the expo.

Droidcon San Francisco is organized by Apps4All in collaboration with Touchlab.
