sHi Ben. I am sorry for your huge immigration struggle. It amazes me since I worked for years as a teacher in a Muslim school where probably 90% of my students and families were immigrants. Not all, but many, openly shared their “short-cuts” to becoming American citizens primarily for the Social Security, and their intention Not to become American. While your family clearly was willing to work hard, go the extra mile, follow the rules And become American. Our crazy political system is so corrupt it can't seem to recognize people who will actually be beneficial to our Country. It makes me sad. Most of the families in my school were also great hard working entrepreneurs. This is exactly the kind of folks who will keep alive the American Dream.
