This silent film portrays the adventure of two men who stumbled upon a castle that was particularly abnormal. The fantasy creature Dracula is making these adventurous souls wish they had never entered his domain. There is a sense of eeriness in that there are creepy things popping in and out of frame such as the hord of ghosts and the skeleton. The use of the cross to ward off the evil spirit of Dracula shows the mans bravery and tenacity to stand up to a dark lord. The use of dressing up Dracula in dark garb portrays that character as evil and wicked. The men are constantly surprised at everything that pops up in their sight showing the creepiness and the truly haunted castle that they have entered.
