Sorry…I side with the school on this one. This is a private Catholic School. They have every right to determine the rules that their school will operate by. If they said he couldn’t come to the dance with another guy, then that’s the way it is. But he didn’t like the rules, so he went on a crusade to make them change it. Then they slapped him with conduct unbecoming a Catholic student. Which they have every right to do. Quite honestly, his behavior was nothing more that gross insubordination and disobedience. I don’t blame the school. They don’t have to be tolerant of his behavior. To be honest, they didn’t have to be tolerant of his orientation. But they were. They never told him he couldn’t attend school. They expelled him after he refused to accept their decision. Too bad kid. And shame on you parents. You will find that you will not always get what you want in life. Go to a public school and do whatever you want. They seem to be willing to let you.
