It’s my favorite time of the year! Stockings hung, tree up, lights on shortly after Halloween — that’s how I roll. I also know the lyrics to an embarrassingly long list of Christmas songs and I start listening to Christmas music way earlier than socially acceptable. My husband, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. I jokingly call him the Grinch. If he had his way, there would be no tree, no decor, and our home would be just another sad, dimly lit house on the block. (By the way — no shade to you if you don’t celebrate Christmas or don’t care to decorate. These are all just my personal opinions.)

After my husband and I got married and moved in together, we started a few new Christmas traditions. For the past two years, we’ve watched a Christmas movie a day from December 1st to Christmas Day. We actually ran out of movies by the end of last year and had to watch a few repeats. If you have a favorite(s) Christmas movie, please share them with me! This year, it might be a little difficult to continue our movie-a-day tradition with a newborn but we will try our best!

Another tradition we started was sharing a macaron between December 1st to Christmas Eve. It was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday season last year and we’re excited to be able…
