Course Description

Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) is an undergraduate program focusing on the study of various aspects of the hospitality industry, including hotel administration, food and beverage management, front office operations, housekeeping, and tourism management. This program prepares students for careers in the hotel and hospitality industry, one of the fastest-growing and most diverse sectors of the global economy.

The BHM program at Christ University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality industry and develop their management skills, customer service skills, and leadership abilities. The curriculum includes theoretical and practical courses, hands-on training, and internships, which give students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world settings.

Eligibility Criteria

- Candidate must have passed the 10+2 level of education or its equivalent in any stream from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- English must be one of the main subjects at the 10+2 level.

Admission Process

Admission to the BHM program at Christ University is based on a three-step process:

1. Entrance Test: Candidates must appear for Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) which consists of questions from General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, English Language, and Data Analysis.

2. Skill Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a skill assessment test which includes a written test, group discussion, and personal interview. The test will focus on the candidate’s communication skills, general awareness, and logical reasoning.

3. Personal Interview: Candidates who clear the skill assessment test will be called for a personal interview. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in all the three rounds.

Management Quota Admission in Christ University

Christ University also offers a few seats for admission under management quota. This option is available for students who may not have been able to secure admission through the regular process, but fulfill the eligibility criteria. The fee structure for management quota admission may vary from the regular seats and interested candidates can contact the admission office for more information.
