It takes courage to listen to your own inner voice to make changes medically that differ from what has/hasn’t worked in the past. Your journey to mental “stability” is individual, maybe the emotional work, therapy, meds, helped get you where you are now but you still have plenty to write about just in a different perspective. Sometimes there are reprieves and sometimes people can manage fairly med free and YEA to that. It’s NICE to hear a positive story on coming out the other side and that being med free is possible. Celebrate that for now life is good compared to your past and that the future holds other possibilities besides just depression. Thanks for sharing and stay vigilant with your mental health.
