Summer season is over #GetBetterSeason starts now
We finished 7–5 this summer which may not look very gaudy but for a team coming off s 3 win season left this coach feeling cautiously optimistic. Let’s face it wins build confidence no matter how big or small the competition, it feel goods to win and makes practicing to get better that much easier.
From now until tryouts in November, roughly 16 weeks, will be known as the “Get Better Season”. Yes there will be workouts and open gyms, but it really is on the individual to push themselves to get better individually so we can get better together as a team.
The three biggest questions a player must ask themselves are:
1) What do I want to achieve?
2) What sacrifices do you need to make to achieve this goal?
3) Am I ready and willing to make these sacrifices?
