I read the manifesto and I think you’ve really misrepresented it. While certainly not all the claims in the manifesto might be backed by science there are many biologists who do study gender differences who would agree that there are differences which make women and men on average more suited to different jobs. If you disagree with this you really need to familiarize yourself with the research better. Furthermore this is the average, talking about the average does not mean the author thinks all the women colleagues are not suited for their jobs. The research shows that while on average there are differences the differences in individuals are much greater meaning you can’t really make any judgement about an individual from the average. Let me give you a simple example that hopefully everyone can agree on, Black men are on average better suited to basketball than asian men. Now does this mean an asian man is always going to be worse? certainly not, in fact I believe there is an asian man playing basketball. What worries me is that there seems to be a culture arising where talking about any of these average differences gets someone effectively demonized and because of that we can’t actually face the reality of what diversity and fairness means when dealing with genetic differences, instead we just pretend and hope they don’t exist and say “la la la la you're so wrong” whenever anyone tries to talk about them.
