ICP.Hub Balkan Winter Ideathon Recap
The ICP.Hub Balkan’s 48-hour Ideathon, held from December 8th to 10th, 2023, emerged as a beacon of innovation in the Web3 landscape. This event wasn’t just a competition; it was a vibrant celebration of creativity and the vast potential of the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) technology.

Participants formed dynamic teams, ranging from solo enthusiasts to groups of five, delving into diverse tracks like DeFi, Real-World Asset Tokenization, NFTs, Entertainment, and others. First Place ($600): DeFi Builder — DeFi Builder revolutionizes Web3 entrepreneurship by offering a no-code platform that simplifies creating and managing decentralized finance projects. Integrating seamlessly with ICP, it empowers users with user-friendly tools to build DEXs, CEXs, launchapads, and more without requiring in-depth technical knowledge.
Second Place ($300): ICP Klaster Gateway — Klaster Gateway offers innovative cross-chain capabilities for multisig wallets, enabling them to own assets and execute transactions across various blockchain networks. Specifically, it extends these functionalities to the Internet Computer Protocol, allowing EVM-based contracts, wallets, or protocols to interact seamlessly with ICP, broadening the scope of asset management and cross-chain activities.
Third Place ($100): Liquidity Prover — Liquidity Prover, a tool designed for the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) network, specializes in generating off-chain proofs to demonstrate adequate liquidity for specific operations without revealing extra information about the prover. This technology, functioning as a Canister on the ICP network, is particularly beneficial in trade finance, offering a more integrated approach to handling off-chain assets and enhancing traditional trade finance mechanisms.
A Stepping Stone for Future Innovators
