The idOS, or Identity Operating System, is a collaborative effort started by Fractal ID, Kwil, NEAR, Gnosis, and Aleph Zero. This collaboration is set to redefine the web3 identity landscape with an open-source, chain-agnostic and interoperable solution to make compliant decentralized identity a reality. At its core, idOS is the identity layer of web3 — and is about empowering users to own, manage, and securely store their digital identifiers.
Our goal is straightforward: to create a user-centric identity system where governance and operations are genuinely decentralized. This means giving users real control over their digital identifiers, ensuring privacy, security, and ease of use across various blockchain ecosystems.

Countdown to Launch: The IDOS Token Arrives in 2024
The excitement is building up as we aim to launch the IDOS Token before the end of 2024. For now, we can share that there will be a total supply of 1 billion IDOS tokens. Details on the allocation will follow soon, so stay tuned!

As we gear up for the launch of the IDOS Token, we’re excited to announce a series of Airdrops, designed to engage and reward our community for their unwavering support.
Introducing IDOS Airdrop 1:
Fractal ID has verified and provide identity verification services to more than 1m users and 250 web3 projects. FCL is the Fractal ID Token, and is currently held by more then 24k unique wallets across Ethereum and Gnosis chain. We want FCL users to also contribute to the growth of idOS, and therefore we’re launching Airdrop 1, to thank them for their unwavering support all these years. FCL holders will be eligible to participate in Airdrop 1 of the IDOS Token and receive IDOS tokens based on their FCL holdings at a 4:1 ratio — 4 FCL tokens = 1 IDOS token. More details on IDOS Airdrop 1 will follow soon. As an FCL holder, this is your chance to be part of the idOS journey!
