Wonderful article and much inline with my believes. I think there’s a lot we can produce from our backyards and porches which are currently wasted on lawns and flower beds. Sadly, investors are looking for “tech” and “efficiency” or at least what looks and smells like that and at the moment these kind of farms are the soup du jour. Eventually more than anything we need to re educate people to care about who makes their food and encourage them to pay more for locally produced high quality food, but that can be 50 or 100 miles away.
