Changing Places: Seattle

“Last month, I went to a TEDxSeattle event where the theme was Changing Places. I heard insights from a diverse range of speakers, telling their experiences about fighting for change in different circumstances, from sustainable fashion to the Standing Rock. Despite the range of experiences, they all had two key themes in common: on a community and individual level we can enforce small but significant changes in the places we care about, and by figuratively exchanging places to look at these spaces from the perspective of others, we can start to bring about positive change.”
