I am extremely interested in AI, especially the not-so-good side of AI weapons and AI war, although the good parts are magnificent and wonderful too, naturally.
As I’ve said till I’m blue in the face about AI, it’s both frightening and beneficial. That’s certainly true, but unfortunately it’s the SIZE of our little planet that is at issue also. It makes the tremendously beneficial delights moot, because the killer robots (yes, I’m afraid so) will decide the fate of our planet — and it won’t be pretty. It will make the human race completely extinct in 30 years or so, even though in the meantime, incredible and wondrous contraptions will make us think we are immune to that. Not so.
