It’s Wild.

It’s wild. All around us we are making monumental advances, which we could only dream about even 10 short years ago, and the next ten years are going to rock our world. But the ethical problems will raise their monstrously ugly head, in ways that were never dreamed even possible, and the consequence will be that we will be gone as a human species, and robots will move ahead. And that is too bad, because we could have avoided it if we chose, but we (by and large) were fat and lazy and indifferent and stupid, and we failed utterly, because we couldn’t take it really seriously when we should.
