The 2000Q.

I think it’s very real, similar to the PC revolution a generation before (which I experienced firsthand). It’s “not relevant and not very good” until suddenly it is — and D-Wave is riding that “wave” right now. The 2000Q is a fantastic step in the right direction, and soon, lots of software applications are going to make their way through the proving ground of testing and failing under some conditions and testing again until it’s perfect. In the next five years there is going to be a massive shift to quantum computing, with D-Wave leading the charge.
