I am extremely interested in AI, especially the not-so-good side of AI weapons and AI war, although the good parts are magnificent and wonderful too, naturally.
This is an absolutely brilliantly written piece, one of the finest articles ever. And what it says about AI is hauntingly prescient; the age of robo-humanity is at hand. One hopes for the best, of course, but that is very unlikely indeed. More likely a bumbling human idiot will make us extinct, thinking he’s actually doing some good.
