Absolutely! We’re currently upgrading the Chirp Javascript SDK to support ultrasonic mode, to bring it in line with the ultrasonic support of our mobile and server SDKs. As soon as that’s done, we’ll be doing trials with ultrasonic sign-in, particularly useful for noise-sensitive environments.

However, we do like the call-and-response interaction of the audible sign-in chirps, and the tangible sense of activity that it gives — no hanging around in silence while you wait for the connect.
