Double Sided No-Sew Fleece Blanket Instructions
Materials for the blanket:
- 1.5–2.5 yards for each fleece (1.5 for toddlers, 2.5 for adults). Trimmed so that both layers are aligned
- 3”x 3” square template
- 3”x 1” Fringe template
- Good scissors
#1: Place a 3”x 3” template square on the corners of the fabric.
#2: Cut around the template
#3: Take a 3"x 1" fringe template and place it on the fabric’s edge.
#4: Cut along the sides of the outline, then repeat with the remaining fabric until you have a row of fringe.
#5: Lift up both layers of the fringe and fold them over the blanket’s surface. Take the scissors and make a small cut into the base of both layers of fringe. When the fringe is folded back over, it should look like a small slit in the fabric. Repeat with each individual fringe.
#6: Take the end of the fringe and push them through the small cut (you can use a pencil to help you to push the fringe through the slit). Make sure the bottom fabric is facing upwards.
#7: Once the ends of the fringe have been threaded through the slit, pull them down to create a knot. Repeat with the remaining fringe.
