Is your email marketing mobile friendly?

It’s no secret, the mobile world is expanding. It’s growing so fast, there are now more mobile devices in the world than there are human beings.

With over 50% of emails being opened on mobile devices, it is essential for email campaigns today to employ responsive designs with their email templates.

What’s great about responsive email design is that content is automatically organized for optimal viewing on any device (desktop computer, tablet, and mobile phone). When implementing a responsive design it is important to consider:

Enlarged fonts — The font should be easily readable without requiring the reader to zoom on sections and scroll around the page to piece it together.

Eliminate clutter — Outside links and social media buttons may look good in the email viewed from a desktop inbox, but once squeezed onto a mobile screen this additional information becomes obstructive.

Organized for easy access — Since less information will fit on a mobile screen, the most important information should be moved to the very top since mobile users are also less willing to scroll through for more information.
