Well, here’s one libtard’s assessment of the affair so far:

You may in fact be right about all of this and Democrats may skulk away from the whole affair a little more chaste than before. But the evidence we’ve seen so far shows a LOT of smoke, and you could be assured that if the shoe were on the other foot, your ranks would on this sh** like white on rice to take down whoever the latest Commie left-winger would have been that you folks despise. I grant you that is your right. So let’s not pretend that this effort is some kind of departure from politics as usual.

But all of that aside, Fred, there is a certain amount of pageantry that needs to take place at this time for no other reason but to set a standard of scrutiny which will be thrust upon a future presidential candidate (primary or otherwise). (Remember how the verb “borked” was added to the American lexicon? Maybe “muellered” will be added soon.)

Even if this whole affair does turns into a verifiable nothingburger, we at least know for certain where the lines are drawn. We at least know where the ethical misdemeanors took place, if any.

I despise this president not only for his veneer of political will but for the personal filth he has imposed on us as a nation. But I, like you, seriously doubt anything significant will come of this investigation to change the way things are. I believe the majority of libtards know this too in their heart of hearts, despite the rhetoric.

But that doesn’t mean the effort isn’t worth the time or money (to say nothing of the time and money wasted investigating Benghazi!). If you’ve ever raised kids, you know that they will test the boundaries whenever they can, and there must be some discipline and consequences imposed for no other reason but for preserving life and limb. I feel this investigation will serve that same purpose — to assure that this travesty doesn’t happen again.

It’s worth it.
