HAVE YOU EVER ASKED YOURSELF THESE FOUR QUESTIONS?

We all want to be successful and achieve our goals in life. We want a happy life. We admire people who do that. But we believe that we cannot achieve them because we are not made for great things.

When it comes to success there is no secret or magic pill. It is just a combination of hard work and luck. But the most important thing to focus on is work.

When it comes to hard work you have to know that only hard and effective work is going to bring you further.

To be effective you have to concentrate on these five points.

1.How do i Perform?

To be successful you have to know yourself. To be aware of you strengths and weaknesses. Since the most important thing to be successful is to gain knowledge. Not all people perform in same ways. To know yourself you have to ask yourself these questions:

1.Am I a reader or a listener?

You have to find out if you are a reader or a listener. Since some people learn easier when someone tells them the information and some when they read it.

2. Do I work well with other people or do I work best by myself?

After you found out whether you are a reader or a listener you have to know if you work better alone or with a group of people. Some people like to be alone when they work so the will not be distracted. Some people love to work with other people together. So they work much more effectively in groups than alone.

3.Do I produce results as a decision maker or as an adviser?

Some people are born leaders and take the responsibility that comes with making big decisions. Some people are great advisers and help leaders to make good decisions but can not take the responsibility of a decision maker and that’s fine.

4.Do I perform well under stress, or do I need a highly predictable environment?

There some people who need stress to work and perform good. There are easy going people who perform good when they are not under pressure. You have to find out for yourself to which group you belong.

2. Find Your Strengths And Concentrate On Them

To know what you’re good in you have to find out in your past experiences. In which activities you performed best. I always used to love biology and always performed best in those classes than on others. So I knew that later I will do something in that direction. I knew that I had little ability for analysing literature and I avoided that since then. I know that it would take me much more effort to become intermediate in literature than in biology and chemistry. So therefore I choose to concentrate on those things I have ability and love for.

Concentrate on your strengths!

3. Make a Plan With Your Ideas

To become successful you should have a list of your goals and a plan of how you want to achieve them. As we all know, failing to plan is planing to fail. At the beginning you don’t need a detailed plan. The most important thing is to start. Then you will develop a much more detailed plan and ways to achieve what you always wanted. Have daily goals, monthly goals, yearly goals! Always when you achieve one goal you get a good feeling of accomplishment which is going to push you and give you strength to achieve your other goals. Take a look of you list everyday after you wake up and before you go to sleep. This will keep you focused.

4. Put Them Into Action

What are ideas and plans only written on a peace of paper? Nothing!

To accomplish those ideas and plans you have to put them into action immediately. Everyday you have to do something that brings you one small step further towards your goals. These small steps will add up and make a big difference in the bigger picture.

5. Keep Going When Things Get Tough!

But watch out because in the beginning everything seems easy and cool. As you start to get better you need to put more and more effort to achieve great results. So things start to get tough. If you are committed and you want to achieve excellence you have to keep going when the s**t gets tough!

Because that’s what winners do!
