#PowerofGiving with Yoobi and ‘Power Rangers’ in Los Angeles

The students of 116th Street Elementary School in Los Angeles took a brief break from class for a big surprise visit from the entire cast of Saban’s “Power Rangers” during Yoobi’s Give Day Event on Friday, March 24.

Becky G, Dacre Montgomery, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott and Ludi Lin joined forces with Yoobi and staff from 116th Street Elementary to donate Yoobi “Classroom Packs,” filled with essential school supplies, to over 500 elementary students across the school. Through Yoobi’s partnership with the Kids In Need Foundation, each student received a school supplies set including pencils, crayons, erasers, glue sticks, makers, and hundreds of vibrant school supplies to last them the rest of the school year. And for this special day, a “Power Rangers” movie poster.

The students and teachers of 116th Street Elementary were delighted to have the cast visit each classroom to interact with them and unveil the boxes filled with hundreds of school supplies. They cheered on Becky G as she sang her famous song, “Shower,” while RJ was spotted dancing with the kids.

Each cast member encouraged the students to pursue their dreams and unleash their inner super heroes through the help of some awesome Yoobi supplies!

Since Yoobi’s founding, we have impacted nearly 2.5 million kids, and it is through meaningful partnerships like these with Lionsgate and the Rangers that we can make an impact far beyond this event.

Yoobi won’t stop working until every child in every classroom across the country has the supplies they need to reach their full potential in school, and bring out their inner super heroes!

Special thanks to the Rangers for sharing the #PowerofGiving and helping spread Yoobi’s impact!
