Stephen Colbert Kicks Off ‘Russia Week’ with a Tour of the Presidential Suite

Stephen Colbert has recently gone on a tour of Russia. ‘The Late Night Show’ host who is known for his comedic sense of humor has had a lot of fun making fun of national embarrassment Donald Trump, and his likely illegal involvement with Russia along the way. In one of his adventures in the country, Stephen Colbert went on a show called ‘Evening Urgant,’ which is quiet popular in Russia. The host had a game set up for him, vodka roulette. After realizing something was different than the premises of the game would suggest, aside from the fact that they were drinking instead of playing with a loaded gun, he said, “Is this all vodka? Then why do we spin it? So every single one of them is a bullet?” The host replied, “Welcome to Russia.” Before he began drinking he said, “I don’t understand why no members of the Trump administration can remember meeting you.” He went on to toast to “the beautiful, and friendly Russian people,” and eventually stated, “I am here to announce that I am considering a run for president in 2020, and I thought it would be better to cut out the middleman and just tell the Russians myself.” Cobert went on to state, “If anyone would like to work on my campaign in an unofficial capacity please just let me know. A strong America! A strong Russia!” On Instagram, Stephen posted a picture of himself in Russia with the caption, “Don’t worry, Mr. President. I’m in Russia. If the “tapes” exist, I’ll bring you back a copy!”
Recently, talk show host Stephen Colbert toured Mocow’s Trump presidential hotel suite for his bit ‘Russia Week.’ Colbert stated, “For the past six months, people have been talking a lot about alleged activities involving Donald Trump at the Ritz-Carlton presidential suite in Moscow, and I’ve been thinking, ‘Why didn’t somebody just go and look in the room?” It was alleged that Donald Trump had had sex workers in the hotel with him though the claims have remained unverified.
Stephen Colbert rented the suite under the pretense that he was going to use the footage for his show ‘Ritz Cribs.’ That is true but he also gave the viewers of ‘The Late Night Show’ a sneak peak as well. He highlighted some of the fully furnished apartment-like suite’s best features. In it we saw an ornate study, complete with a desk and décor. There was a vase that showed naked women in a circle around the crystal vase which Stephen Colbert stated was “depicting, I believe, the allegations in the dossier.” There was also a full scale grand piano. Additionally, near a window in the presidential suit, there was a small, what appeared to be bronze, telescope that you could see the Kremlin through. He stated that it was there, “in case you want to return the favor.” He continued, “Come on Vlad, put on a shirt.” He went on to show the viewers closets that were bigger than many millennials apartments. The bedroom of the presidential suite was not shown as a way to tease, and entice viewers to watch his other show ‘Ritz Cribs.’ The master bathroom appeared to be granite or marble, and contained a Jacuzzi tub, and “a personal sauna.” Stephen Colbert proceeded to open the sauna’s door as if he was stepping inside to relax in a full suit. He joked “Oh if this wood could speak. Hundreds of the world’s most powerful men have come in here to sweat their balls off. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to make that 101.”
‘Russia Week’ will continue throughout this upcoming week.
