“Stranger” appears in the King James Version, the New Revised Standard Version, the New Jerusalem Bible, and the Tanakh translation. “Sojourner” appears in the Revised Standard Version and the English Standard Version. “Alien” appears in the New International Version (1984) and the New American Standard (1995). “Foreigner” or “foreigner residing among you” appears in the New International Version (2011) and the New Living Translation (2013).
