Random Acts of Kindness
“My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness. Continue to allow humor to lighten the burden of your tender heart.” ~ Maya Angelou

How perfect are these words for so many moments in life?
What would you do if you found out that you only have 3 months to live and that there is no known cure? Would you scream? Would you collapse on the floor, break down and cry? Would any words ever be enough to offer even the smallest bit of consolation? Everyday, people around the world are fighting battles we know nothing about, in spite of all their suffering, all their anger, sadness and fear, they get up and somehow, they face the day. That’s a special kind of bravery and special kind of Heroism.
“Small act of kindness, one giant leap for humanity”
I believe that most of you know Nelson Mandela, one of the most influential leaders the world ever has. What attribute made him so authoritative? His kindness. Kindness is that one weapon that compel others to fall in love with you. So I’ve decided to incorporate small acts of kindness in my daily routine.
Here I would like to share some of my acts and the feeling that I experienced.
I commit to myself to make this kindness a lifelong habit. So I started my day with a favor for my mother. I got up early and dropped my mom to her school. She was happy that made me soothing as well.
Another tip to make others feel happy is to genuinely interested in them. So when I met my colleagues I discovered their daily routine, gave them nice comments on their dressing, told them some funny joke that made them smile. I was feeling relax that I was making a positive impact with my small act of kindnesses.
Last thing but the most importantly, never think that you don’t have an impact on people, your fingerprints can’t be wiped away from the little marks of kindness that you left behind.
‘If you don’t get a miracle, become one.’ ~ Nick Vujicic
