You make a good argument. I appreciate where the “negative commenters” are coming from, but the reality on the ground, I believe is closer to your situation. I’m a firm believer in basic income and I believe it would be a huge help to folks like yourselves. Additionally, as a former (reformed?) Wall Steeter, if you don’t pay, you may find that you are able to purchase back your student loan for pennies on the dollar.
