Mariupol-Kiyv-Chernigov (Ukraine)
and back home
in early August, 2014
A good journey to my brother Michal, my good friend Nastya and super dude Dimas Kotjuh (http://www.kotjuh.com/)
If there is something great to do after a year of a hard office work and routine, that something is visiting your family and friends

Meet Dima — a good man from Estonia with big heart and small glasses:

This year Kiyv had some interesting places to visit. Hope this mess will end soon.

Mishka posing for the Men’s Health magazine :

Right from the center of capital city we moved to center of CHERNIGOV !

Usual tourists pictures:

The first thing you should see in Chernigov, is a squirell. Fat & hungry squirell.

Sniff-sniff….smells good and tastes good!

Throwing nuts into their human-built houses is not that easy. But not for Mishka…

After a walk through the old park we finally reached fresh place. River Desna
Desna (Russian: Десна; Ukrainian: Десна) is a river in Russia and Ukraine, left tributary of the Dnieper river. The word means “right hand” in the Old East Slavic language. Its length is 1,130 km (702 mi), and its drainage basin covers 88,900 km2 (34,324 sq mi).
In Ukraine, the river’s width ranges from 60 to 250 metres, with its average depth being 3 m (10 ft). The mean annual discharge at its mouth is 360 m³/s (12,713 ft³/s). The river freezes over from early December to early April, and is navigable from Novhorod-Siverskyi to its mouth, which totals about 535 km (332 mi).
Misha was under a deep impression of the beautiful views, amazingly refreshing air and landscapes of green endless forests:

At the end of the day our new friends joined us and we spent some time searching for a good place to taste local cuisine

LOCACL UKRAINIAN CUISINE…
NOT CHINESE
and finally we have found a good place to have a rest and drink some beers.

Dimas was noticeably tired first five minutes after we took our seats.

few sips of cold beer made him look better..

Tanya was more interested in camera (or camera man) than in menu ☺

Misha was somewhere in outer space for some time..

And that was a great finishing of that day

That’s all folks…..
