Cavaliers Interested in Free Agent Big Man After Kevin Love Injury

The Cleveland Cavaliers aren’t wasting any time sulking about the devastating news of Kevin Love’s injury.
Rather than hope for the best when Love is expected to return in about six weeks, the Cavs are being proactive in looking for at least a temporary replacement and are reportedly already interested in at least one big man.
The person of interest is former Milwaukee Bucks PF/C Larry Sanders.

Sanders is actually a fantastic option for the Cavs and both parties would likely jump at the opportunity to reach a deal.
In late February of 2015, Sanders announced that he was stepping away from the game, but said he could still be interested in returning to play. He then announced in late January that he would be making a comeback, and the timing couldn’t have been better.

The Cavs aren’t the only team interested in Sanders, but the notion of immediately jumping on board a championship contender has to be quite the enticing idea.
Cleveland can’t expect to replace what Love brings on a nightly basis. But the size and athleticism Sanders possesses is just about the best the Cavs can hope for at this point in the season.
