Cred Adds PayPal, Goldman Sachs, Tradeshift Executives to Global Leadership Team

Maxim Rokhline joins as Chief Product Officer, James Alexander joins as Chief Capital Officer, and Richard Oh joins as GM of Asia. Each executive brings a 20+ year proven track record of financial technology innovation, spanning capital markets, online lending, payment systems, risk management, and analytics.

Maxim, James, and Richard have led highly talented global teams and built some of the most sophisticated financial services products in the world. They will bring thought leadership to the crypto community and help attract the next 100 million users of crypto.

Max Rokhline has joined the Cred team as Chief Product Officer. Prior to joining Cred, Maxim was the SVP of Financial Services at Tradeshift, a global B2B commerce network. At Tradeshift, Maxim led the development of the financial technology unit serving large enterprise buyers, global supply chain, and trade finance banking. Before Tradeshift, Maxim served as the Head of Risk Management at the fractional shares trading app, Stockpile, where Maxim was responsible for the development of risk strategies, policies, systems, and practices.

Maxim’s diverse financial services experience encompasses broad product strategy and management of card-acquiring platforms at many other successful companies. Most notably, Merchant e-Solutions, mobile payments platform development at Intuit, global core payments least cost routing and analytics at PayPal, credit card portfolio risk management at Washington Mutual and internet banking development for Wells Fargo.

James Alexander has experience as an operator and investor in online lending since 2010. He has held key executive positions and worked with notable platforms and investment managers including Prosper, LendingClub, FastPay, CircleUp, Money & Co., Colchis Capital, and Direct Lending Investments. He is also invested in numerous fintech platforms.

Mr. Alexander has 20 formative years of experience in traditional banking, capital markets, research, and institutional sales; and has worked at venerable institutions including Goldman Sachs, Royal Bank of Canada and Nomura. He is also the co-founder of the Swiss merchant bank, Alternative Capital Associates. James holds degrees from Webster University, Geneva, Switzerland and was a US-Asia Technology Management Center Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, School of Engineering.

Richard Oh joins the global Cred team and is based in the Cred office in Singapore as GM of Asia. Richard was the Head of Payments for PayPal in the Asia Pacific where he looked after PayPal’s payment systems and partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and processors.

Having spent nearly 20 years in digital payments since the early days of eBay payments and PayPal, Richard is considered one of the top fintech experts in the region and has played a significant role in expanding PayPal’s payment capabilities globally. He’s also been active in advising a number of startups in digital payments and commerce with a focus on cross-border, social commerce, acquiring and issuance.
