The centralization in whole world is considered as good thing, but some moments it can lead humanity to disaster. The centralization of resources and power in the past led to an effectiveness, but today in the world the situation is changed. Centralization leads to irrational use of resources, the concentration of them in one place, and therefore accelerates their exhaustion.

In relation to Internet technologies you can use many striking examples, in which somebody build and expand the network, spending billions of dollars and megawatts of electricity and a long stretch of fiber-optic communication lines. As a rule, large amounts of data are now stored and processed in many thousands of kilometers from the place where they are used. All current existing IoT platforms are centralized and work with a similar scenario. Thus, if a Korean farmer choose the platform of IoT of the American manufacturer, the data from IoT sensors from the fields of the farmer are likely to be stored in the United States. Apparently people have built fiber-optic lines along the bottom of the oceans, spending billions of dollars. This leads to huge costs.

Blockchain allows you to distribute and store not only files but also the computing resources in the network. The company IIoT Telecom is developing its own IIoT Patform decentralized using EOS technology, in order that anyone in the world could connect to it and obtain its data from the nearest node of the network, not only the company’s servers from another continent. And to do this we do not need to install any special server and platform in the network near the user. The system will function in a distributed Blockchain, part of which can be in any home computer or any server that is available from the main tasks of resources.

In the composition of the solution from IIoT Telecom there are two major subsystems that provide decentralized operation and high availability of services.

In the case of traditional centralized placement of IIoT Platform in the data center caused the neediness for constant and rather rapid introduction of new computing power. It is expensive and slow. At the same time, there is a dependence of all recipients of services and data IIoT Platform from a centralized data center whose resources are always finite and subject to overload with a rapid increase in the number of customers and flow through the system data. Of course, you can use traditional cloud model for high availability and redundancy IIoT Platform, but the dependence on the finite resource system of one service provider in this case is not going anywhere. Experts predict rapid growth of the IoT, similar to the growth of the ordinary Internet that took place in the beginning of the last century. Therefore, we must be ready for rapid deployment and scaling.

IIoT Telecom plans to decentralize and place some components IIoT Platform in the Blockchain at the expense of third party Blockchain startups such as SONM, EOS and perhaps others like them. The funds from the ICO will be partly spent for the development and testing of interfaces to such systems, and smart contracts, which will provide data transfer IIoT customers and sending I2 tokens only in exchange for the data obtained.

Transactions

IIoT Telecom customers will have access to their data, and will pay for the services by sending crypto tokens I2 for the received data through smart contracts embedded in the Blockchain. In the case if you pay by Fiat currency such situation in many cases is not possible, because the cost of fees through Bank payment systems will be comparable or even can exceed the cost of the IoT services. But the minimum payment in I2 is possible at the rate of 0.0000001* I2 at zero fee to the user. For a fairly common transaction, a smart contract will not require immediate payment, the payment will be made for a certain amount of transactions due to specific characteristics of the IIoT solution. For data that can be directly monetized, for example, meter readings of water, transmitted once a month, the payment will be made simultaneously with the receipt of the data packet. The number of possible Subcontracts will be limited to 10–12 to avoid the risk of accumulating debt. In addition, payments can be combined within a single SmartContact for the data set obtained from a group of similar sensors over a certain interval of time.

For the company IIoT Telecom scalability of the Platform for Blockchain-based supercomputer will be reflected in the purchases token the appropriate platform. The more tokens, the more computational resources will be available to IIoT Platform.

Of course, according to our calculations, the cost of services IIoT Platform will be significantly higher than fee we will have to pay to third-party platforms.

The figure below shows the expected benefit that can be obtained by enterprises using solutions of Industrial Internet of things. In the case of using the Blockchain, the benefit will be even higher!

The company “IIoT Telecom” will use at least two different Blockchain to build IIoT Platform:

  • Third-party decentralized Blockchain platforms that allow to decentralize any application — EOS or SONM;
  • Ethereum Blockchain for distribution ERC-20 compatible token I2.

Don’t forget that we started PRE-ICO on February 19, 2018!
