Interesting article. I’ve been seeing a ton of these adds and had always equated them to payday loan scams. However as extremely negative as this article is of Earnin it seems to fall flat at the end when it reveals that the company does NOT charge interest, relies on voluntary “tips” and so really it’s biggest flaw may be that it helps along bad spending habits. I’m all for educating people to be finanicially savvy and budgeting would always be the first thing to do (and would eliminate the need for a program like Earnin) but just because people use it doesn’t make it bad. I don’t see an article about how McDonald’s should be blamed for obesity even though they hardly sell anything that promotes healthy eating habits. Summarizing, maybe you should actually find a problem to actually write about?
