Shadowboxing

I recently learnt that eye shadows and charcoals are made of minerals.

I don’t know if it was made up but, I do know that if I rub them both hard enough, their darkness will fade. And some days, my eyelids are like charcoals. If I crush them together, my black demons turn to grey shadows.

And without a shadow of a doubt, I, am afraid of my own shadow.
