Samsung halts production of Samsung Galaxy Note 7
Samsung on Monday announced that it is discontinuing production of Galaxy Note 7. Samsung released Galaxy Note 7 in August 2016 with some unique features including iris scanner.

In an official statement Samsung mentioned there have been 35 cases reported as of September 1. It was a battery cell issue which was causing the fire. Due to all these reports Samsung delayed sales in some countries.But on Monday , Samsung issued the press release asking Galaxy Note 7 users to power down original as well as replaced units. For retailers and career partners, Samsung directed to stop the sale and replace items.
Samsung did a lot , even replacing it’s all Galaxy Note 7 which are sold. Samsung given software update which allowed defected Note 7 to charge up to 60% only. To distinguish between original and replaced Galaxy Note 7 Samsung introduced battery pack and green battery indicator.
After replacement , southwest airlines flight 994 from Louisville to Baltimore evacuated when the passenger’s replaced Galaxy Note 7 caught in a fire. To ensure a quality of product and customer satisfaction Samsung proceed with important step of halting production of Galaxy Note 7.
Now Samsung has to deal with Galaxy Note 7 which are still in the market and all of its pending orders.
