Generally, if you like 3 posts of cats or Pizza on Instagram your feed gets filled with their posts. I’ve been merely posting, liking, and following #Mahsa_Amini and Iranian people fighting for freedom for the last few days.
How come my feed is showing anything but that ❓‼️

while, people are in the streets protesting the Iranian regime and all news agencies talk about IRANIAN WOMEN’s fight for Freedom MARK ZUCKERBERG ( Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram) is trying to present another false world. ❌
I don’t know their goal with this censorship, but I know that bright days are waiting for the people of Iran. 🕊️

the idea of decentralized data, the idea of the community being able to have an influence, and an alternative vision of the web where the services are not hosted by a single service provider make me more hopeful for the future. 🆓
