The evidence 0,1% can change everything

In 1871 Charles Darwin surmised that humans were evolutionarily closer to the African apes than to any other species alive. That doesn’t mean we descend from them. Approximately 98% of a gorillas DNA (= genetic instructions) is matching with the DNA of a human. 92% of the DNA of a mouse matches with the DNA of a human. I hope nobody here thinks we descend from mice.

A survey finds all humans are 99,9% the same. That means there is a tiny genetic differences in all of us. 0,1% of our DNA makes each person unique. This 0,1% can effect our gender, skull shape, skin color, hair color, the color of your eyes, and much much more. Think about that. People get racial profiled even though they are 99,9% the same. People get excluded even though they are 99,9% the same.

A team found that tiny differences in DNA (in this 0,1%) can provide enough information to identify the geographic ancestry of individual men and women.

This 0,1% plays a too big role in our ideology. We are all humans.
