When I was working as freelancer I spent some months in Southeast Asia working remotely. This was the dream for me. Although to be honest I found it eventually difficult as it was hard for me to balance between work and fun :D.
There was times when I sat at the hostel lounge, and people would come up to me and ask me to join them for some activity. I would always respond sorry, have to work.
But anyways nice post! Looking forward to hearing how it works for you, and maybe you will figure out how to balance the work/fun ratio and then share it with the rest of us!
