Kerning 2016: Black Fire on White Fire

Here we are! It’s time for another edition of Kerning conference.

Kerning conference will take place as usual in Faenza: 4 workshops — 1 and 2 June — and 8 great speakers on the 3rd of June for the conference day.
This year you’ll see on stage Sumner Stone, Marta Bernstein, Mark Simonson, Gerry Leonidas, Jonathan Barnbrook, Sara Soueidan, Mark Boulton, Luca Barcellona.

We’ll also have three 2-day workshops:

Think Write Digitize with Sumner Stone: you’ll learn a basis on which to begin or expand your own personal tradition of letter making.

It’s only Illustration (but I like it!) with Francesco Poroli: you will be guided through the design of illustrations for magazines.

Anatomy of a Magazine with Davide Mottes: a practical guide to design your own magazine. You’ll oversee the whole creative process of a magazine, from the first idea to print-ready files.

And obviously a letterpress workshop. One day at the wonderful La Vecchia Stamperia with Officina Typo and Damiano Bandini.
