We’ve been fighting drug-resistant epilepsy for 4 years now. After one month in pharmacological coma, an emergency brain surgery — in a different hospital—saved my son’s life in November 2013. Unfortunately, no way to permanently solve the problem. We’re still fighting and our lives have changed a lot.

The point is, in Italy we have a free healthcare system and this is undoubtedly why my son is still alive.

So I totally understand the problem and support the campaign.

When someone has health problems, I think it’s totally inhumane having to also worry about money.
