‘It’s True!’

SAN FRANCISCO

According to an interview in ‘Whirled Pebble Magazine’, Bryan Abney (who created and has maintained contactee.net since 2012) is going full speed ahead with changes to the Site.

‘Contactee Theater’ has occupied the website almost since it’s conception; barring a few months in which it was attempting to offer a 24/7 Independent Television Channel at the very beginning.

‘Contactee Theater’ is (in Mr. Abney’s own words) “An independent Theater showcasing the Vignettes I have brewed up over the years.”

Sipping his Long Island Ice Tea at a popular gay bar, GangWay in the Tenderloin; Roberta Maze of (WPM) had a chance to sit down and ask this virtually unknown wanna-be a few questions.

The most apparent question she first asked him is, “Why do you even bother?”

Bryan sipped what seemed an endless slurp of the extremely potent alcoholic beverage before he sat back; cocked his head in an unusual left and right pattern (as if he was trying to pop his neck), sighed and looked me directly in the eyes asking me, “Uhhh, which one are you, now?” He giggled and quickly replied, “ I am not trying to do anything spectacular. Not anything commercial. I suppose what I am really doing is ‘something’. Whereas so many people do absolutely nothing! I don’t, ‘how do you say…’ ‘bother; I do. I’m enjoying doing what I do. And whether or not it is considered a successful endeavor does not interest me in the least.”

He ordered delivery from local fare consisting of Tortellini Al Fredo and Oysters on the half shell from ‘Little Henry’s’ restaurant (which ‘Whirled Pebble’ picked up the rather reasonable tab).

With fork forced into my mouth after he cooed “you have got to try this!” I was convinced to share his plate. Of which he insisted and of which I enjoyed very much.

Although I always have tried to remain sober during my attempts at journalism; I must say I was overwhelmed with Mr. Abney (who is also known as ‘Vyrdlokkin’; which he refers to as his Witch name. I ordered a Glenfiddich on the rocks.

Oh, did I fail to mention ‘Vyrdlokkin’ is a Witch. Supposedly he has been a lifelong variety, and has known it (he says,) all his conscious life. Although I never ‘believed’ in real Witches in the past…

… Vyrdlokkin swooned me into a spiral-down stenciled swirl.

We ended up at Fort Funston, the coastal beach along side the Great Highway we Uber’ed soon after our lunch, tripped on ‘shrooms all night, finally I forgot all about what it was I was interviewing him about.

Reporting in San Francisco just after Walpurgis Night; I am Roberta Maze.

This is a groovy tune I created by tweaking a Public Domain piece.
