When I read bologna posts about the Affordable Care Act...

All I can think is about my other half and how he is the real deal when it comes to Dr.’s.

I think about his work with police and fire constructing front end catch basin services to preventatively get them healthier and organized to provide local middle class heroes better health care.

I think about his attempts to fight big hospital organizations, who have thrown “first do no harm” out the window and created a society of addicts because they throw pharmaceuticals at patients for the bottom $$ line (or top $$ line as the case may be) & harming patients in the long run.

I think about New Hampshire magazine picking him, since we moved here, as one of the 10 best family Dr’s in the state.

I think about all the military bases he has gone to, worked at and helped all those vets and all their families… as he pushed/fought for a better VA.

I think about that day when I hung up the phone with him when he was working at the Ft. Hood clinic and 5 minutes later the news was broadcasting there was a shooting. I think about my heart fall and panic trying to get a hold of him for the next 10… As they locked down.

I think about his life long fight to fix all these problems with an out of shape, “over-corporatized” monolith of an ineffective and over-valued US healthcare system in this country.

& I think about how angry and frustrated he gets at how much fiction the right puts up at the arguments over healthcare.

People who post FoxNews stories have bought into a lot of spin and lies. 99% of the time hurting themselves and everyone else… Like my other half.

Who is a hero in his own right.

Dedicated his life to understanding the real front lines of healthcare… ..not the people who are in healthcare to own multiple ski chalets and have an easy wealthy life.

Doctors who actually became Doctors to solve patients’ health issues overwhelmingly support the Affordable Care Act.

Those are the people we should be listening to. Not Fox News.
