Breaking through in a relationship is both extremely simple, and extremely hard. It requires continual, brutally honest self-awareness. It requires that we be continually vulnerable. It requires that we take the leap of trusting our partner with moment-to-moment secrets that we would usually keep from them, and that we might even keep from ourselves.
Remember that a common currency only has power if both parties agree to its use. To understand weight loss, we need to understand what our body ‘cares’ about. The answer is clearly not ‘calories as seen clearly on the detailed charts above. The answer is ‘hormones’, predominantly, but not only insulin. Hormones run everything in our bodies.
