Australia is known for its diverse wildlife, and one of its unique species is the Numbat. Unfortunately, the Numbat population has been declining.

with this visualization, I wanted to show the diminishing population of Numbats in Australia.

Numbats were once found in various parts of Australia, as shown in the first map. However, the second map reveals a significant decline in sightings. The third map is even more alarming, with Numbats only surviving in small patches in Western Australia.
