Maybe you should try volunteering. I think there’s a great chance of meeting and interacting with nice people in an environment like that. I suggest you volunteer for something you’re into. For example, I’m a filmmaker (or at least I’m trying to be one), I’d try to volunteer for at local film festival or something like that.
