I came to the U.S. In 2006 and I felt in love with this adoptive country that gave me the freedom to wear my headscarf and go to work, gave me the chance to be myself and belong to this diverse society where we can speak any language and be American, be of any religion and be American, be of any color or ethnic group and be American.
